New Delhi.

Sir,

Greetings from PVCHR.

Please refer to the enclosed news titled as " Rampaging strays kill patient in ward" carried in the Mail Today, 2nd August, 2011.
The news tells the pathetic state of the hospital in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. According to the news report the incident took place inside the emergency ward. All these happened when the eyewitness informed the staff like the doctors, nurses, and ward boys. Later, under pressure, the Medical Superintendent tried to provide different versions of the incident.
Sir, please have an inquiry and take severe action against all the staff present on duty.  This is a case of gross human rights violation. The hospital staff are solely responsible for the death of Sikandar Khan. The family members of the victims should be compensated.

With regards,
Dr. Mohanlal Panda
