Direction issued by the CommissionThe complainant, Shirin Shabana, Member, Manwadhikar Jan Nigirani Samiti, r/o 412 A, Daulatpur, enclosed a press clipping dated July 19, 2011, in which it was mentioned that the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Guatambudh Nagar, has directed that a case be registered against the then SHO, Jahangirpur, Sunil Dutt and 7 others. It was alleged that on 16.4.2011, SHO along with 6 others, trespassed into the house of a trader and inflicted injuries on his wife, Zarina. He sought intervention of the Commission. Commission, on 28.3.2012, took cognizance and issued notice to the concerned authorities calling for a report in the matter within six weeks. Pursuant to the direction of the Commision, Sr. Supdt. of Police, Bulandshahr on 9.5.2012, informed the Commission that an enquiry was conducted through Circle Officer, Secundrabad in which it was mentioned that on the application of Mohd. Yusuf, r/o Mohalla Vyaparian, District Jahangirpur, a Case Crime No.122/2011 under Sections 323,325,326,504,506,452 and 307 IPC was registred against Sunil Dutt and 7 others. The statements of the victims and affidavit of the victims were obtained and it was found that the brother of the complainant is a criminal type of person and the case against Police Officers was filed with some ulterior motive. Consequently, after investigation, final report was submitted on 10.8.2011. Copy of the report was sent to complainant for comments on 27.7.2012 but so far no reply has been received. Since final report has been submitted which is pending in Court and the complainant has not submitted any comments on the police report, further intervention of the Commission is not called for. The case is closed.
