Compliance of NHRC order for compensation

The National Human Rights Commission directed to Secretary, Home to give 5 – 5 Lakhs Rs compensation to the next kin of Salim and Khalid who were killed in fake encounter in 8th May, 2006 under Inchauli jurisdiction of Meerut district. On 22nd September, 2011 Right to Information (RTI) was used for the implementation of the NHRC direction. On 7th October, 2011 DIG office informed that the amount of compensation was disbursed to the beneficiary Disbursement of compensation to the next kin of Salim and Khalid
